Welcome to our unique 15th-century Dartmoor guest house. We provide friendly and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in our own private oasis of West Country calm, located in the heart of friendly Moretonhampstead, Devon, gateway to the high moor.

Open all year, The LongHouse Bed and Breakfast stands on ancient burgage lines in the heart of this bustling Devon village situated in Dartmoor National Park. With thick granite walls and beamed ceilings, our guest house is completely traffic-free, with access via a pedestrian tunnel which passes beneath the adjacent dwellings. We are only two minutes walk from Moretonhampstead's local amenities including a choice of pubs, restaurants, tearooms, craft and gift shops, cash point, post office and, of course, beautiful Dartmoor itself.

We offer three well-appointed bed and breakfast letting rooms: an en-suite double, plus one twin and one double which share their own private bathroom. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities and a generous breakfast is served in our atmospheric beamed dining room with its inglenook fireplace. All are welcome, including walkers, cyclists, children over 7 years of age and, for a modest supplement, the occasional well-behaved pet. The guest house's tranquil secluded garden, with pond system and resident tribe of frogs, is also here for your enjoyment on balmy Dartmoor summer evenings.
