Open all year, The LongHouse Bed and Breakfast stands on ancient burgage lines in the centre of this bustling Devon village in Dartmoor National Park. With thick granite walls and beamed ceilings, our guest house is completely traffic-free, with access via a pedestrian tunnel which passes beneath the adjacent dwellings. We are only two minutes walk from Moretonhampstead's local amenities including a choice of pubs, restaurants, tearooms, craft and gift shops, cash point, post office and, of course, beautiful Dartmoor itself.

Inspected to a Visit Britain 2-star standard by the Dartmoor Partnership tourist authority, we offer three well-appointed bed and breakfast letting rooms: one en-suite double, plus one twin and one double which share their own private bathroom. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities and a generous freshly-prepared breakfast is served in our atmospheric beamed dining room with its inglenook fireplace. All are welcome, including walkers, cyclists, children over 7 years of age and, for a modest supplement, the occasional well-behaved pet. Our tranquil secluded garden, with pond system and resident tribe of frogs, is also here for your enjoyment on balmy Dartmoor evenings.
