Welcome to our 15th-century Dartmoor bed and breakfast, tucked away in its private oasis of West Country calm, deep in the heart of Moretonhampstead, Devon, gateway to the high moor.

The LongHouse Bed and Breakfast stands on ancient burgage lines in this bustling Devon village situated in Dartmoor National Park.  Our property is completely traffic-free, with access via a pedestrian tunnel which passes beneath the adjacent houses.

Open all year, we offer three bed and breakfast letting rooms: one en-suite double, plus one twin and one double which share a separate guest bathroom. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in our atmospheric dining room with its inglenook.

All are welcome, including children over 7 years of age and the occasional well-behaved pet. Our tranquil secluded garden, with pond system and resident tribe of frogs, is also here for your enjoyment.
